Job Summary

We are hiring a Transportation Business Analysts who will be working from our office in Agra, UP, India with our Canadian team to ensure efficient and effective data processing.


Job Responsibilities

  • Collaborate effectively with all team members in the local and remote office to achieve daily objectives.
  • Provide the highest levels of service to all stakeholders with whom they interact, whether internal or external, with the goal of continuously improving the customer experience.
  • Respond to stakeholder communication via email, phone, and messaging to resolve issues in an expedited manner.
  • Ensure accurate input of order data to keep information up to date and accurate.
  • Comply with established company policies and procedures, and Occupational Health and Safety regulations.
  • Appropriately lead and mentor junior staff.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment.


Day-to-Day Job Responsibilities

  • Dispatch areas of focus provide opportunities to specialize in areas such as:
  • Use a web based SaaS platform to monitor freight temperatures and keep a record in a tracking workbook
  • Monitor email mailbox (for border crossing compliance data), keeping track of requisite information in a tracking workbook, recording information in operations management platform
  • Audit paperwork for meat freight and verify correct documentation, certification and invoicing
  • Verify inspection details for freight and ensuring inspections are completed
  • Collect paperwork in real-time, such as invoicing, BOLs, PODs
  • Update clients on Trucking Management Software, Workbenches and Online Portals
  • Track and track trailers, coordinating pickup of (empty) trailers from client yards
  • Generate and execute border crossing compliant documentation (ACI/ACE manifesting)
  • Conduct freight updates, including reporting delays, rescheduling appointments, determining freight positioning on route
  • Deliver client updates with accurate and expected information
  • Schedule, book and confirm appointments for shippers and consignees/receivers
  • Identify, record and calculate detentions and coordinate detention collection


Job Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
  • Related work experience in the transportation industry OR a Business Analyst role
  • Experience with SaaS software and management software
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office suite, with a focus on Outlook and Excel
  • Hold a good understanding of the general geography of Canada and US; need to be able to determine how far away a driver is from a location
  • Strong computer, organizational, and analytical skills
  • Proven ability to deal productively and professionally with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment

Position and Pay

  • This is a full-time position
  • Over-time may be required occasionally
  • Competitive wage, based on experience and training
  • Salary range depending on years of experience: 35,000 45,000 monthly
