Job Description
Overview The VBA team provides high quality excel reports for various Orient Capital corporate clients and internal teams. It also develops macros to generate these reports and support internal excel based processes. Finally, the team troubleshoots macros wherever issues arise. Key Accountabilities and Main Responsibilities- Timely and accurate delivery of excel / PDF/ PowerPoint reports following set processes based on share register analysis / shareholder identification data
- Effective and timely macro troubleshooting whenever issues arise
- Ability to prioritise and manage several projects/tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to comprehensively understand source data files and apply processes/coding to produce desired output
- Ensure accuracy and timely delivery of reports and macros
- Ensure that excel/VBA queries are responded to accurately and quickly
- Advanced excel and VBA skills
- Degree
- An interest in financial markets and how they work
- Good attention to detail, time management and initiative
- Strong communication skills (spoken and written)
- Ability to learn quickly and pick up unfamiliar macros/processes/projects with minimum delay
