Roles & responsibilities

• The successful candidate will be the business owner, with responsibility for signing the right mix of selection in partnership with sellers, adding unique local selection, driving traffic conversion and margin improvements while delivering top notch customer experience.
• He/ she must be an effective leader and communicator working with our most important partners, as well as with internal colleagues and groups.
• He or she will have strong business judgment with a track record of strong ownership values and relationship management skills. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on a start-up business team.
• Developing business management goals and objectives that tend to growth and prosperity
• Designing and implementing business plans and strategies to promote the attainment of goals.
• Vendor Management
• Maintain Relationship With Existing Vendors : Regular Calls/Visits
• Ensuring Good Fill Rates From Vendors
• Good Connect With Wholesalers/Distributors/Brands : To Negotiate Best Quote, Arrange Bulk Quantity As And When Required
• Pricing
• Create Profit/Loss Statement every month to track Profitability of the Category
• Maximise Profit From Sales Of Existing Catalogue
• Inventory Planning
• Creating a Planogram
• Balance Projected Forecasts And Actual Sales
• Minimise Aged Inventory

Required Skills

• Category handled: FMCG/Personal care/Home care/Staples/Food and beverages
• Ability To Maintain A Team Of 2-3 People
• Domain Knowledge Of Relevant Category
• Excel Skills Vlookup, Pivot Tables
• Oral & Written Communication Skills English, Kannada, Hindi
• Introduce Relevant New Brands With High Margins
