Marketing Manager - Web Developer
Job brief:We re looking for an exceptional Senior UI/Front End Developer to join our marketing team, someone who can not only build a top-notch user experience, and also define the way our prospects and customers interact with us on our online channels.
The goal is to achieve pixel perfection resulting in superior customer engagement, website traffic and revenue.
The ideal candidate for this role would be someone with hands-on experience with high-traffic website / Web Application development and can balance multiple projects that involve working with the marketing team for executing different online marketing activities. We re looking for a strong problem solver and a team player who has a passion for delivering business results.
Responsibilities:
End-to-end ownership of the Locus website and related assets with a highly-focused attention to detail, ensuring brand consistency across projects
Pixel-perfect attention to detail to ensure all website, landing pages, emails and newsletters are executed to perfection
Ensuring web design is optimized for smartphones and all major devices
Building reusable code for future use
Optimizing web pages for maximum speed and scalability
Developing features to enhance the user experience
Web pages and experiences are tested and optimized across all major browsers, devices and resolutions
Manage multiple projects at once, ensuring deadlines are hit without sacrificing quality
Requirements:
4+ years of front-end web development experience
Experience in implementing, and working with a CMS platform such as Wordpress, Drupal etc.
Prior experience in Jekyll mandatory
Strong ability to write and work with HTML, JS and CSS
Experience building pixel-perfect web pages and projects
Experience with mockup and UI prototyping tools, specifically such as Invision, Marvel App, or Sketch
Understanding of server-side CSS.
Knowledge of basic SEO principles
Special preference for candidates with expertise in modern web development techniques, such as parallax animation, neumorphism, scrolling transformations, and more.
