Software Engineer Iii Job in Locus

Responsibilities:

• You will take ownership of the technical aspects of one of our product, ensuring that the team is being used to its fullest potential through designing and building applications around our customer s needs

• You will review and monitor current engineering work, as well as previously constructed applications, to ensure the software is running as smoothly as possible

• Be responsible for sub-system architecture and development for product initiatives and feature development

• Understand what's important when releasing software to millions of end-users and have been through the process from start to finish

• Follow coding standards, unit-testing, code reviews, performance improvement, follow release cycles and commitment to deadlines.

• Write maintainable/scalable/efficient and modular code for large scale consumer products.

• Work in a cross-functional team, collaborating with peers.

We re Excited About You If You Have:

• A minimum of 6-8 years of software development experience

• Experience with one or more object-oriented programming language like Java, Python, Ruby on Rails etc.

• Experience working in a distributed/cloud-based environment (e.g. Amazon EC2, GCE, Alicloud, Azure etc.)

• Experience in designing and implementing highly scalable web applications

• Experience in a microservice architecture, domain driven design, and RESTful Services using languages such as Java, Node, Scala etc.

• Experience working with SQL and NoSQL data stores like MySQL, DynamoDB, MongoDB etc.
