Editorial Proof Reading(epr) Job in Lumina Datamatics Ltd.

Key Responsibilities:

Mandatory:

• Should do Quality check of the typeset CE files and mark all typos, inconsistencies, and misalignments
• Check hyphenation, sequence of numbered headings, figures, tables, notes, footnotes, equations, etc
• Read captions of figures and tables and alert the PE if any do not appear to match the artwork
• Check placement of tables and figures in relation to their first text mention
• Read running heads against chapter openers.
  

Preferred:

• Experience in Books division
• Worked for STEM/HSS books
• Worked in full-service work environment
• Should have working experience with CUP/WK etc.
  

Qualifications:

• Any Graduate

Experience:

• 4 to 6 years
