Job OverviewWe are looking for a highly motivated Technical Sales Engineer to drive business growth and manage customer relationships. The successful candidate will be responsible for lead generation, prospecting, sales visits, quotations, and industry networking to achieve sales targets in the refractory sector.Key Responsibilities1. Lead Generation • Identify prospects in target industries (Power, Steel, Chemical, Fertilizer, Petrochemical) using various sources such as personal references, online platforms (IndiaMART, JustDial, LinkedIn), and industrial directories. • Approach industry associations for access to target segment data and leverage industrial websites to gather additional prospect information.2. Cold Calling & Appointment Scheduling • Obtain contact details for key decision-makers and initiate cold calls to schedule meetings. • Use bulk emailing, cold calling, and targeted outreach to secure appointments and arrange site visits.3. Sales Visits • Conduct on-site visits at customer locations to present company profile and address any technical queries. • Assess the prospect's technical requirements, challenges, and needs, using "SPIN" questioning techniques to gather comprehensive information for accurate quotations. • Assist in developing customized solutions for prospects based on their Product Usage Value (PUV) and reference requirements.4. Quotation Management • Prepare and submit quotations according to customer specifications and get approval from the Sales Manager. • Perform cost estimations to ensure a minimal variance between budgeted and actual costs. • Regularly follow up on quotations and arrange revisits as necessary to increase conversion rates.5. Other Responsibilities • Attend industry-related exhibitions, seminars, and conferences to stay up-to-date and network with potential clients. • Continuously look for ways to improve processes and contribute to company growth. • Engage with trade associations and industry professionals to enhance networking and achieve sales objectives.
Qualifications & Experience • Preferred Candidate Profile: Male candidate • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in industrial sales • Education: B.E./B.Tech in any field (MBA is a plus) • Other Requirements: ◦ Own a two-wheeler ◦ Willingness to travel at least 15 days per monthCompany Benefits • Provident Fund • Mediclaim (Rs. 3,00,000 coverage for employee + family, including spouse and up to 2 children)
