As a DevOps Engineer, you will deliver software solutions that will empower our team and our clients to innovate and invest for a better future. You will work with a variety of technologies built on our cloud-based infrastructure. We encourage our team to research, evaluate, and present recommendations for innovative technologies and frameworks.

To be successful in this role you ll bring the following technical skills:

  • Proven development skills with the ability to work in Python, Java or other similar programming languages
  • Experience with AWS (including EC2, S3, RDS, DynamoDB and EBS)
  • Working knowledge of relational databases with SQL
  • Familiarity with Linux, shell scripting, load balancing and basic networking
  • Understanding of design patterns, testing methodologies and overall SDLC
  • Comfortable proposing designs, gather feedback from others, build solutions with reusability in mind and documenting how the solution works
  • Building solutions considering user experience, automation, security, performance, resilience, cost, scale, and reusability
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and debugging skills
  • A passion for automation and continuous innovation
  • Working with data analytics and visualisation tools such Power BI
  • Exposure to change and incident management
  • Exposure to SDLC and CI/CD tools
  • Understanding of microservices architecture
  • Comprehension of security, including authentication and authorization
