Job Summary

Join our technology team as a Senior Associate and play a pivotal role in the management of our Clouds DevOps Axiom team.

We re looking for an individual with experience in Private/Public cloud infrastructure management tasks in AWS technology set.

You ll bring your in-depth knowledge of day-to-day support in spinning up new Cloud servers via code, application/database installations and configurations to connect applications with database.

You will take the ownership of infrastructure related issues, and perform both short-term resolution and develop long term preventive measures. You will manage capacity planning such as space expansions and utilization checks in an autonomous manner across database and application servers. You will perform BCP tests in cloud environments including the pre-tasks like making the primary and secondary servers in sync, failing-over/failback of servers, DNS repointing.

In addition to this, you will perform the OS patch upgrades, software upgrades across various environments and work closely with DB/OS cloud and application teams. You will proactively monitor server health and respond to alerts to provide high availability and performance of the application. You will also deliver operational improvement projects, identifying potential threats and mitigating risks, acting as a guardian of production services.

To be successful in this role you ll bring the following technical skills:

Experience with cloud (AWS), JSON, infra as a code, CI-CD pipelines and serverless technologies

At least 3+ years experience working in a Devops or support team supporting large, enterprise level systems

At least 3+ years experience configuring, managing and upgrading the Atlassian suite of tools (JIRA, Confluence, Stash, Bamboo)

Strong Shell scripting and automation experience

Experience with SQL query, Splunk is preferred.

Excellent Linux administration skills and experience

Understanding of ITIL support framework to ensure strong understanding of processes
