Job Summary

Purpose of the role:

UI Developer for the Development team who will be responsible for the development of the UI web-based development part of our projects. He/she will be expected to: - ensuring cross browser compatibility, performance and robustness. Should be very strong in Javascript. Build interactive interfaces with JavaScript - Work in collaboration with JSP programmer.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Requirements understanding, identify tasks, provide estimates and meet production deadlines.
  • Participate in code, design reviews and peer reviews.
  • Collaborate with other engineers and teams to design solutions and resolve issues.
  • Responsible for the development of web applications and components.
  • Effectively develops in a clean, well structured, easily maintainable format.
  • Demonstrates technical and analytical skills.
  • Demonstrates ability to communicate effectively in both technical and business environments.
  • Build reusable code and libraries for future use.
  • Work with PM and UX designer to understand requirement and ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX design.
  • Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability.

Competencies Required:


Technical Competencies:

  • Fluency in HTML5, CSS and Javascript framework / libraries.
  • Experience with professional software engineering best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, unit testing and operations.
  • Strong experience with Scrum.
  • Experience developing component-driven UI.
  • Great communication and collaboration skills and a strong teamwork ethic.
  • Experience with modern frameworks like ReactJS, AngularJS.
