Job Profile /Specific desirable experiences/Preferred knowledge areas:
Understanding the basic process requirements and translate them suitably into
engineering concepts and basic engineering perspective with PQCDSM alignment.
Preparation / Review of concept layouts / options with complete Interface
Engineering.
Inputs / Review on Material Specifications, Technology adaptation, Structural Analysis
Concepts, Engineering Concept Integration, Process Engineering Interfaces. Estimate
quantities and cost determine project feasibility.
Input on CME / PE interfaces for the various processes like BIW/Press/
Paint/TCF/Aggregates / Non process specific requirements.
Basic understanding of MOST/TPM/Quality Management Systems.
Ability to understand the design anomalies with Interfaces.
Appreciative Skill on understanding of Asset Book from Zero Base Budgeting to
Concept of Cost of Capital to Commitments, Cash flows and Capitalization.
Safety Aspect of the Project, JSA, HIRA, Use of PPE, working in Confined Spaces,
Working at Height, CAPA, MSDS, Tool Box talk and aspect of Occupational health. Etc.
Strong Focus and Understanding of Perceptible and Engineering Quality Parameters.
In depth understanding of Sustainability aspect used in Planning, Design, Execution.
Should have business Acumen, Global Mindset, Result Orientation.
Project Management like preparing and monitoring project schedules with cost/ time
model. Task work, Critical Path, Float, Techniques to cash the project schedule with
COST Vs. Time.
Understanding of Resource planning.
Strong Co-ordination ability amongst all stake holders. Should have ability to interpret
the project requirements into actionable options.
