About the Position

Front-end Developers are responsible for implementing visual elements that users see and interact within a web application. In general, they are supported by back-end web developers, who are responsible for server-side application logic and integration of the work front-end developers do.

We are looking for ambitious and self-driven Front-end Developers to join on contract basis. This will be permanent remote working for a contract period for 3-6 months.As a Front-endDeveloper, you will be responsible for implementing visual elements that users see and interact within a web application, which makes your role crucial for the success of our business.

Front-end Developer duties and responsibilities

• Use a variety of programming languages in order to create user-friendly web page.
• Work in multidisciplinary team with other professionals such as back-end developers and web designers
• Provide high-quality graphics and visual elements
• Optimize our web applications for maximum speed
• Always stay consistent with our brand guidelines
• Design mobile-based features. Get feedback from users and customers
• Make suggestions for better solutions to problems
• Keep abreast of latest and emerging technologies
• Attend training and educations

Front-end Developer requirements and qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Front-end DeveloperusingJavaScript frameworks like Angular/ ReactJS/
• Good experienceand knowledge of core concepts of Vanilla JS,HTML,CSS and jQuery.
• Critical thinkingand problem-solving skills.
• Excellent knowledge of browser troubleshooting and debugging practices and techniques.
• Comfortable in Research and Development of new technologies.
• Good experience inperformance
• Knowledge of some SEO principles.
• Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on companys success.
• Team player.
• Good time-management skills.
• Great interpersonal and communication skills.
• Tech/MCA or similar relevant field.

Good to Have

• Good Understanding of HAML & Ruby to collaborate with backend team
• Basic understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS
• Web design experience.
• Background of a Product based organization.
• Knowledge of CSS frameworks such as Bootstrap,Bulma,Vuetify
• Understanding of SEO and accessibility issues and how they relate to development
• Good Understanding of writing module test cases in Jest/ Mocha + Chai
• Good knowledge of any backend technologies like Nodejs, Golang, PHP.
