Job Overview: UE Logs & Protocol Analysis of All RAT s

Roles & Responsibility:

• Candidate is responsible for UE side Log analysis for LTE-A; LTE; 3G; 2G & IMS.
• Candidate is responsible to analyze and resolve modem/telephony issues (Customer/Field Reported).
• Responsible for collecting device/TE logs and perform 1st level analysis of issues found during testing.
• Responsible for debugging & analyzing the issues for 3GPP 4G/5G protocol L1, L2, L3 issues, analyze logs and work with development teams (e.g. R&D) to resolve issues.
• Must carry out technical reviews and guide the team on technical aspects.
• Interaction with cross functional teams on technical issues and track it for logical closure.

Skill Set:

• Good Knowledge/Experience in Android; iOS; Windows OS based phones.
• Solid understanding & knowledge of Wireless & Mobile Technologies 5GNR; LTE-A; LTE; UMTS; GSM;
• Good Knowledge of Architecture; Interfaces; Protocols; Layers;
• Strong understanding of L1/L2/L3 layer protocols & its functioning, capable of performing protocol layer level analysis of various issues related to LTE.
• Understanding of IP telephony network, SIP, IMS, and IP telephony standards including VoLTE, VoWiFi, VONR, ViLTE.
• Experience on logging tools like Wireshark, QXDM, ELT, LOGEL.
• Strong understanding & knowledge android/kernel/radio logs.
• Must have good call processing knowledge as per 3GPP specifications for 5GNR; LTE-A; LTE; UMTS; GSM capable phones.
• Good knowledge of all signaling flows like attach/detach, TAU, reselection/Handover, CSFB/SRVCC, IMS registration/Deregistration, VoLTE/VoWifi/XCAP
• Well familiar and have sound knowledge about the information elements/header elements of LTE & SIP messages.
• Good Understanding of 3GPP specification.

Educational Qualification Required: B.E/B.Tech
Experience Level: 4-10 years
