Main Role: The Engineering team within Rapid Test Designer Product department is responsible for designing and developing application layer software to test 5G/LTE/IMS and other technologies like 2G/3G/IOT. Main objective of the engineer would be to develop various protocol scenarios (tests) using RTD(Rapid Test Designer).

Job Description:

Skill-Set :

Requirement s analysis includes product/scenario specification document reviews.

Scenario design and development using RTD within a protocol environment.

Getting scenarios work in a prototype environment.

Adherence and conformance to the Anritsu development process.

Log Analysis and diagnosis of the problems.

Provide estimates and report progress.

Help support team and customers resolve their queries in using product to test 5G/LTE/IMS and in additional NB-IOT/CAT-M1 protocols.

Good communication within and across teams.

Technical Requirements :

Understanding and work experience of Anritsu tools especially RTD is beneficial.

Excellent protocol knowledge in 5G/LTE/IMS and moderate knowledge NB-IOT/CAT-M1.

Experience in writing 5G/LTE/IMS and in addition IOT protocol tests.

Excellent experience in debugging and analyzing mobile protocol scenarios and getting scenarios to work in a prototype environment.

Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.

2G/3G/4G/IOT/5G/C2K/TD-SCDMA Inter-RAT understanding.

3GPP protocol knowledge.

Effectively communicate within and across teams.

Non-Technical Requirement :

Ability to learn and pick up new technologies like 5G and new products like RTD.

Self-motivated independent performer who could perform and deliver with minimum supervision.
Good team player.

Desired Experience :

Sound understanding of MAC/PHY.

Protocol knowledge on 2G/3G.

Knowledge on Anritsu Signaling Tester (MD8430 / MD8480 / MD8475).

Ability to multi-task with several activities.

Familiar with Perforce, Jir.
