Level -Assistant Manager / Deputy Manager


Experience -Min. 3 years - Max. 6 years


Educational Qualification -B.E. / B.Tech (Mechanical / Automobile) with Min. 60% marks


Role & Responsibilities -


NVH EVALUATION AND DEVELOPMENT OF DIESEL ENGINE

  • DIESEL ENGINE NVH DEVELOPMENT ON ANECHOIC ENGINE BENCH LEVEL & VEHICLE LEVEL AT NVH TEST TRACK.
  • DIESEL ENGINE NVH -TARGET SETTING AND BENCHMARKING.
  • ACHIEVEMENT BY HARDWARE MODIFICATION ON ENGINE LEVEL.
  • EXPERIMENTAL NOISE, VIBRATION AND AERO-ACOUSTIC INVESTIGATIONS ON INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY. (FOR EG: MODAL ANALYSIS, COMBUSTION ANALYSIS, TRANSFER PATH ANALYSIS, SOUND QUALITY ANALYSIS ...).
  • SUBJECTIVE & OBJECTIVE EVALUATION FOR IDENTIFICATION OF NOISE SOURCE, ROOT CAUSE AND COUNTERMEASURE EFFECTIVENESS.
  • INTERFACE REGULARLY WITH RELATED TEAMS OF DESIGN AND QUALITY FOR NVH DEVELOPMENT OF DIESEL ENGINES.
  • CONDUCT CUSTOMER PREFERENCE STUDIES AND CORRELATE RESULTS TO OBJECTIVE METRICS.

  • Competencies Required -


    Functional -

  • FUNCTIONAL KNOWLEDGE ON DIESEL ENGINE SYSTEMS, COMPONENTS AND THEIR ROLE IN NVH.
  • OR MORE YEARS OF EXPERIENCE WITH NOISE & VIBRATION TEST EQUIPMENT AND ANALYSIS SOFTWARE. (LMS TEST LAB / B&K PULSE ETC). PROFICIENT IN TEST INSTRUMENTATION,DATA ACQUISITION, ANALYSIS AND REPORTING
  • OPERATION OF ENGINE ANECHOIC TEST BENCH AND DYNAMOMETER SYSTEM.
  • MODAL TESTING, TRANSFER PATH ANALYSIS AND UNDERSTANDING OF NVH SIMULATION MODELS AND CAE.

  • Behavioural -
