Department: Casting Engineering

Division : Production Engineering

Education:

• A Post Graduate Diploma/Degree in Radiological Physics from a recognized university/institution, Or
• A Degree in Engineering or in Science from a recognized university/institution with Physics as one of the subjects, Or
• A Diploma in Engineering from a recognized university/institution with a minimum of five years of experience in radiation surveillance in a radiation processing facility supported by personnel monitoring (TLD) service

Certification:

• Should have BARC level-2 training from competent institute approved by Atomic Energy Regulatory Board (AERB)
• Industrial Radiography

Any other specific requirement:

• Should have work experience of at least 4~5 years on CT scan machine. (Preferable working in industrial field)

Job Role & Responsibilities:

• Carry out routine measurements and analysis of radiation levels in the controlled area, supervised area of the radiation facility and maintain records of the results
• To develop proper operating, emergency, and eLORA procedures as per AERB norms for CT machine
• To analyze internal defect of Aluminum castings
• Measurement of internal & external dimension of casting (actual vs nominal & wall thickness)

• CT scan data analysis software (ATOS)
• MS Office
