Job Summary
  • Support Linear Regulator and DC-DC switching regulator definition, validation, and competitive analysis.
  • Supervise and conduct all testing required for new product introduction creating new test methodologies and support material including datasheets, evaluation kits, simulation models, and others
  • Collect data for datasheets and release notes and collate results with IC design and test engineers
  • Provide technical support to key customers and field engineers
  • Create demos that clearly demonstrate Maxim's solutions and differentiating features with respect to the competitor's offerings
  • Develop system reference design boards, Application notes & other technical marketing collateral
  • Candidate should possess a Bachelors/ Masters degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering with a good knowledge of Power Electronic Systems/ Circuits and 12+ years of relevant experience preferably from semiconductor Apps Engineering/ Ref System development team.

Qualification :
  • 12+ years of experience in the field of power electronics product design and comprehensive knowledge of basic power supply topologies such as Buck, Boost, Buck-Boost and LDOs.
  • Ability to own the project deliverables and drive to completion with minimal or no supervision. Ability to coach/guide junior engineers
  • Must have experience in leading execution of projects supervising junior engineers
  • Must have analog and digital circuit design skills; knowledge of transistor-level circuit design is preferred.
  • Should be conversant in simulation/design/PCB tools such as PSPICE, SIMPLIS, MATHCAD, Labview
  • Ref System design, development, testing and debug skills with ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with PCB Design and development circuit design and schematic capture, layout guidelines and practices
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. Experience working with cross-functional teams in multiple global locations and provide technical support to key customers and field engineers
