Job Summary
Qualification :
- Execute and lead New Product Introduction activities
- Define creative new products concepts to solve customer technical problems
- Use knowledge of power electronics and lab skills to solve complex hardware problems on the bench
- Hands on with lab equipment
- Drive, define, supervise and create outbound collateral to enable business generation for Maxim field teams
- Create simulation models (SIMPLIS) to define IC architecture and validate product definition ideas
- Document product concepts to include all technical requirements and justifications
- Collaborate with business management, sales and FAEs to support customer design-in activities
- Travel globally to meet and understand technical problems customer engineers face
- Mentor junior application engineers
- Present in front of management level and large audience
Qualification :
- 10+ years of experience in the field of power electronics product design and comprehensive knowledge of power topologies such as Buck, Boost, Buck-Boost, flyback converters and LDOs.
- Strong knowledge of feedback control systems and analog electronics
- Prior leadership experience and demonstrated ability to lead complex project spanning across the geographies and functional disciplines independently
- Ability to understand the customers problems and needs, and to propose a solution.
- Experience in proposing and defining Power management IC products.
- Intimate knowledge of key IC architecture choices and practical implementation tradeoffs and limitations
- Expertise in using lab equipment to debug and evaluate power management products.
