Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Information Security Analyst to join our growing team in Coimbatore. In this role, you will be responsible for strengthening MaxVal s security posture by managing and upgrading our security infrastructure, enforcing data protection protocols, and ensuring compliance with international standards. You will work closely with various business and technical teams to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of enterprise systems and data.
Key Responsibilities
Security Infrastructure & Operations
- Oversee and maintain enterprise security systems, including firewalls, endpoint protection, encryption protocols, and intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS).
- Perform regular vulnerability assessments, patch management, and penetration testing.
- Configure and monitor SIEM tools and other security monitoring platforms.
Risk Management & Compliance
- Conduct internal risk assessments, security audits, and gap analyses.
- Support implementation of ISO 27001, NIST, and other relevant compliance frameworks.
- Evaluate third-party risks and review vendor contracts for data privacy and security clauses.
Access Control & Data Protection
- Manage access policies and ensure role-based access control (RBAC) is consistently enforced.
- Safeguard sensitive data through appropriate use of encryption, multifactor authentication (MFA), and data loss prevention (DLP) tools.
- Investigate security incidents and ensure root cause analysis and remediation.
Security Awareness & Incident Response
- Deliver employee training programs to promote security best practices across the organization.
- Lead incident response efforts, documenting events and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Stay informed about emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and industry trends.
Qualifications
Education:
- B.E. / B.Tech in IT, or
- B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Computer Science or equivalent
Experience:
- 8 12 years of experience in information security, preferably in a technology or SaaS environment
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in managing network security, endpoint protection, and encryption technologies.
- Experience with SIEM tools, vulnerability scanning platforms, and penetration testing.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR).
- Ability to write and maintain security documentation and audit reports.

- Detail-oriented and capable of handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
