Job Summary Reporting to the CRO, the Sales Engineer/Solutions Consultant (SE) will be part of a dynamic team that is selling the world s premier IP products and services. SE s will be responsible for all technical aspects of the sales cycle including but not limited to product demonstrations, selling product features and architecture, RFP fulfillment, product management and engineering engagement, and technical follow ups from sales calls all in order to help the sales team meet or exceed the annual sales quota. SE s will primarily develop and perform product demonstrations with their sales counterparts. Ideal candidates will exceed in their ability to demonstrate products clearly and concisely, understand and present technical information to varying audiences, and work closely to support the Regional Managers. This is a role that will require some travel, but mostly work from home anywhere in the UK.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Team with outside sales reps to gain maximum revenue and meet sales targets

- Provide all technical sales support prior to, during and after sales meetings

- Prepare and present MaxVal product demonstrations

- Prepare and provide input for technical sections of RFI s and RFP s

- Communicate with Product Management and Engineering on issues or opportunities identified in sales situations


Experience

- A minimum of 2+ years as a pre-sales engineer or similar qualifying role

Experience working with customers and providing technical support

Proven ability to demo software or SaaS products

- Prefer someone with legal and/or IP domain knowledge as well as SaaS

Salesforce experience a plus but not required

- Excellent communication and qualification skills

- BS in engineering, computer science, or related technical field

Alternatively a BA with deep IP or legal experience
