Key Responsibilities

Back End Development:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems using Node.js, TypeScript, and Nest.js.
• Implement efficient server-side logic for high performance and reliability.

Database Management:

• Manage and optimize NoSQL and SQL databases (MongoDB, PostgreSQL preferred).
• Ensure data security, integrity, and optimal database performance.

API Development:

• Develop and maintain RESTful and GraphQL APIs; experience with gRPC is a plus.
• Collaborate with front-end teams to ensure seamless API integration and usability.

Team Leadership & Mentorship:

• Lead and mentor developers, conduct code reviews, and enforce coding standards.

Performance Optimization:

• Identify bottlenecks, troubleshoot issues, and optimize backend performance.
• Implement logging and monitoring solutions for robust system health tracking.

Security:

• Apply best security practices to protect backend systems and data.
• Stay updated on security vulnerabilities and implement timely fixes.

Collaboration:

• Work closely with front-end developers, QA teams, and product managers to deliver integrated solutions.

Troubleshooting & Debugging:

• Investigate and resolve technical issues in development and production environments.

Continuous Learning:

• Keep abreast of latest backend development trends, tools, and frameworks.
• Advocate for and implement new technologies where appropriate.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with Product-Oriented Architecture and microservices implementation.
• Familiarity with messaging systems like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Exposure to front-end frameworks such as React or SvelteJS is a plus.
• Comfortable with project management tools like JIRA and source control tools like GitHub.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to write clean, testable, reusable code.
