Roles & Responsibilities: 1. Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of 10 engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment. Provide guidance, support, and professional development opportunities to help team members reach their full potential. 2. Project Management: Oversee the end-to-end project lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment. Ensure that projects are completed within budget and timelines while maintaining high-quality standards. 3. Technical Expertise: Utilize your strong expertise in Node.js to provide technical guidance and solutions to the team. Conduct code reviews and guide the team in best practices, ensuring the delivery of efficient and maintainable code. 4. System Design: Leverage your profound knowledge of system design to architect scalable and reliable solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and design system architectures that align with business objectives. 5. AWS Handson: Utilize your experience with AWS services to implement cloud-based solutions, ensure scalability, and optimize system performance. 6. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues that may impact project timelines or product quality. Develop contingency plans to address any unforeseen challenges. 7. Communication: Foster clear and effective communication within the team and with stakeholders. Provide regular project updates, status reports, and technical briefings to senior management. 8. Agile Methodology: Promote and enforce Agile development methodologies to ensure the team's efficiency and adaptability in a dynamic environment. Skills & Qualifications: 1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. 2. Minimum of 10 years of overall software engineering experience, with at least 3 years of recent, hands-on experience in Node.js development 2 years minimum as engineering manager experience. 3. Hands on coder with high standards in code quality and unit testing. 4. Strong expertise in system design, architecture, and development principles. 5. Must have experience with MySQL, ECS, Redis/Memcache, Kafka/SQS/Kinesis, ELK, Cloudwatch 6. Basic Understanding of Android, iOS, Web Application stacks 7. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make well-informed decisions in a fast-paced environment. 8. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior management. 9. Demonstrated ability to deliver projects on time, within budget, and with high-quality standards. 10. Leadership qualities, including the ability to motivate, mentor, and empower team members to achieve their best performance. 11. Project management skills, including resource allocation, risk management, and project 12. Past entrepreneurial experience is a big plus.
