Job Description: A/R Deductions Analyst is responsible for providing support to the AR team. This includes identifying, researching and resolving customer deductions. Additional responsibilities to support the A/R function and special projects as assigned. Responsibilities: Review teams short-pay daily Capture deductions details from customer AP portal sites or check remittances and take appropriate action to resolve Run ad-hoc reporting to aid in researching deductions and identifying trends Review deductions to ensure credit escalation process is followed and identify any exceptions Validating deductions and coding with in SAP system with details/unique reason code Prepare deduction details to collector so they can work with contacts to re-pay etc Obtain proof of delivery (POD) which support AR Services disposition when a customer dispute arises due to shortages or damaged goods. Contact carriers and warehouses with appropriate tracking information in order to obtain the proof of delivery Create credit worksheets for valid disputes where appropriate and as needed Work daily reports to identify offsetting documents Responsible for processing and maintaining PPD census billing Completes other duties as assigned. Experience & Required Skill: Overall work experience of 4-6 years of relevant experience in B2B Credit and Collections in Healthcare Industry. Solid hands-on experience in SAP Experience cross-cultural adaptability Demonstrated stability in a job with experience in business critical finance project Understanding of business processes related to General Ledger, Close and consolidation, Cash Management, Statutory/Secondary Ledgers, financial reporting, and internal control concepts. Intermediate to advance level skill in Microsoft Excel (for example: using SUM function, setting borders, setting column width, inserting charts, using text wrap, sorting, setting headers and footers and/or print scaling).
