Now, as part of our Ads team, we re seeking a visionary Principal Data Scientist / Data Science Manager to elevate our advertising technology through cutting-edge machine learning solutions.

About the Role

As a leader within our AdTech division, you ll design, implement, and scale innovative ML solutions for real-time bidding, ad ranking optimization, budget pacing, and performance measurement. Your work will drive business impact and help define the future of our monetization strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop advanced bidding and budget pacing algorithms to optimize ad spend and ROI
• Create experimental frameworks to measure ad effectiveness and attribution
• Collaborate cross-functionally to transform business needs into efficient AI/ML-based solutions
• Define and communicate the long-term data science roadmap with business and tech leadership
• Mentor junior data scientists and guide team-level strategy
• Lead research initiatives in ML, auction theory, and AdTech domains

Required Qualifications

• B.Tech in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or related field with 6+ years of hands-on experience
• Strong expertise in auction theory, predictive modeling, causal inference, and reinforcement learning
• Proficiency in Python and deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow
• Experience with big data tools and environments
• Proven ability to mentor teams and manage complex analytical projects
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• M.Tech or Ph.D. in Computer Science or related discipline with ML specialization
• 3+ years of experience working in AdTech, real-time bidding systems, or programmatic advertising
• Track record of taking ML research to production
• Publications in top-tier AI conferences (e.g., NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, KDD, CVPR, AAAI)
