Nodejs Backend Architect Profile Job in Metadesign Solutions

This is a remote position.

• 5+ years of experience in Software Engineering roles
  
• You are comfortable modeling business problems in software and can translate software models into software implementations effectively.
  
• You believe in the benefits of software testing to improve both the quality of applications and the speed at which they can be built and maintained, and consistently apply test-driven methodologies to your work.
  
• You are knowledgeable in common distributed system approaches (service-based, event-based, microservices, etc.) and protocols (REST, RPC, GraphQL, AMQP, etc.) and can apply each appropriately to business problems.
  
• You understand NodeJS/ExpressJS patterns (layered middleware, sync vs async, reactor loop mechanics and limitations, etc.) and can effectively apply this knowledge to build stable and performant applications.
  
• You are comfortable building and managing continuous deployment pipelines leveraging CI/CD as code and modern build and deployment tools such as Docker and Kubernetes
  
• You can appropriately employ relational and non-relational database models to a problem and implement performant applications across each.
  
• Specific expertise in OAuth2 and an understanding of standards such as OIDC and JWT s is a big plus.
  
• Experience with dev tools like eslint, prettier, nodemon is a plus
  
• Experience with Postgres and MongoDB is a plus
