The Opportunity:

As a Senior .NET Developer at Metizsoft, your primary responsibility will be to design and develop various layers of our applications. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance, quality, and responsiveness of our software, collaborating closely with the rest of the team. A commitment to collaborative problem-solving, sophisticated design, and delivering a high-quality product is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Translate application storyboards and use cases into functional .NET applications.
• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code for our applications.
• Integrate robust data storage solutions effectively.
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and proactively devise and implement solutions to mitigate and address these issues.
• Coordinate effectively with team members working on different layers of the infrastructure.
• Help maintain overall code quality, organization, and automation standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 3 to 10 years of experience in .NET web application development.
• Strong knowledge of the .NET web framework.
• Proficient in Angular, .NET Core, and MVC Framework, with a solid understanding of their ecosystems.
• Familiarity with the Mono framework is a plus.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles.
• Proven skill in writing clean, readable, and easily maintainable code and reusable libraries.
• Familiarity with various design and architectural patterns.
• Knowledge of concurrency patterns.
• Proficiency with Microsoft SQL Server.
• Experience with popular web application frameworks.
• Familiarity with Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF).
• Understanding of fundamental design principles for building scalable applications.
• Experience creating database schemas that accurately represent and support business processes.
• Basic understanding of Common Language Runtime (CLR), its limitations, weaknesses, and workarounds.
• Experience implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests.
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools (e.g., Git).
