The Opportunity:

As a QA Engineer at Metizsoft, you'll be instrumental in developing and implementing a comprehensive QA program. Your role will be critical in safeguarding product quality and embedding a culture of quality assurance across the company, ensuring our products meet the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and analyze requirements, specifications, and technical design documents, providing timely feedback.
• Work extensively with both Automation and Manual Testing methodologies.
• Develop detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
• Design, develop, and execute automated tests.
• Test current products rigorously and identify deficiencies.
• Identify and report issues found, then diligently verify that issues are resolved.
• Suggest solutions to identified product problems.
• Investigate product quality to drive continuous improvements and enhance customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with the Product Development team to ensure consistent project execution.
• Identify key KPIs for product quality and track performance.
• Identify quality assurance process bottlenecks and propose actionable improvements.
• Plan, create, and manage the overall Quality Planning strategy.
• Collect quality data and perform thorough regression testing.
• Oversee continuous improvement projects within the QA domain.
• Investigate the causes of non-conforming software and train users to implement solutions.
• Track quality assurance metrics, such as defect densities and open defect counts.
• Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies.
• Prepare and present clear reports and metrics to Senior Management.

What We're Looking For:

• 1 to 3 years of proven experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer.
• Must have experience in both Automation and Manual Testing.
• Experience with various testing techniques, including UI Testing, Automated Testing, and Test Driven Development (TDD) Strategies.
• Experience with coding using JAVA, HTML5, DB2, and XML.
• Proficiency with web security technology and various software QA tools and processes.
• A critical thinker with strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent time-management abilities.
• Great interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proven experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Hands-on experience with both white-box and black-box testing.
• Hands-on experience with automated testing tools.
• Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
• Experience with performance testing and/or security testing is a significant plus.
