Key Responsibilities

• The Senior Engineer will be responsible for developing prototypes to assist in user research, using low to high fidelity techniques and valued product interactions for End Users.
• In this role you will work closely with Product Management and Engineering Team to translate requirements into designs through rapid prototyping.
• Along with advice front-end engineers on UI implementation best practices.
• Understanding of the entire application lifecycle.
• Validation and iteration of prototypes with Product Management.
• Close partnership with multiple Engineering team to ensure product feasibility.
• Involved with teams that develop enterprise solutions used by hundreds of concurrent users.
• Ensure deliverables are on time and meeting the required quality.
• Quick turnaround for changes that has high impact.
• Passion for staying abreast of the latest web technologies.
• Communicate and document technical concepts clearly, for both technical and non-technical audiences.

Skills and Experience

• Expertise in building component-based UI architecture with a focus on creating composable and reusable UI elements.
• Expertise in crafting clear, valid, accessible, semantic HTML Markup.
• Expert knowledge of CSS, CSS Framework, various CSS pre-processors like LESS / SAAS
• Experience in modular CSS development such as OOCSS and Atomic Design.
• Ability to articulate the differences between these methodologies.
• Thorough knowledge of debugging and troubleshooting skills of browser compatibility issues, support.
• Exposure in creating experiences that adapt across browsers and devices will be an added advantage.
• Hands-on with responsive web development using various Frameworks.
• Practical knowledge of accessibility best practices, WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines) 2.0 AA compliancy, and ARIA.
• Knowledge on building and supporting Assistive Technology is desired.
• Familiarity with web components or with a modern front-end framework / MVC such as React, Vue, Angular, Backbone, jQuery, Bootstrap, Marionette, etc.
• Strong knowledge with UI testing frameworks and bring value to effective testing and automation.
• Independently build HTML Prototypes / UI Components using Frameworks.
• 4-6 years of working experience in this role

Education

Bachelors or Master s in Computer Science or related disciplines
