Senior Engineer I - Software Development Job in Microchip Technology Inc

Job Description

SW Design Engineer responsible for designing and developing SW including UEFI driver, RAID Stack and HII utility and Diagnostic utility for Microsemi Enterprise Storage product lines. In this role you may have to work with other team members and cross functional teams to develop and maintain SW Tools and drivers. We are looking for a candidate with following skill set

1. Excellent knowledge in C and Data structures is a must

2. Excellent Logical and analytical skill

3. Good knowledge of UEFI / Low level driver (Windows / Linux) / FW development

4. Knowledge of Embedded systems and concepts.

5.Understanding of SAS , SATA , SCSI, PCIe, NVMe protocols and RAID concepts
