Job Summary
Qualification : BE- B.Tech in Computer Science /IT/EC
Skills: Windows Server OS 08/12/16, VMware Knowledge, MS SQL, Active Directory, Back up Technology , Server Hardware Experience, Linux
Job Description:
- Shall have BE with minimum of 3 years experience in Server and Storage Support,
- Profile should be ready to Travel, Stay at any Project Site for a Longer Period & Work Hard.
- Site Coordination, Customer Interaction, and Coordination with Back office.
- Ready to work anywhere in Gujarat or outside Gujarat.
- Ready to work after office hours and in 24X7 Shift environment.
- Preparing Documents, Reporting to Customer and back office.
- Certifications: MCSA, MCTS, RHCSA, VCA-DCV Hyper-V, VMware Any One or Two.
- Server hardware knowledge for maintenance, cleaning, repair, replacement of defective/faulty parts & their installation.
- Server Operating System: Windows, Linux & VMware.
- Proper understanding on SQL Database.
- Storage: Working experience of SAN, NAS.
- Backup: At least Windows Backup and Recovery, knowledge on additional backup tools preferred.
- Server Monitoring Tools: Exposure to different server monitoring tools.
- Good knowledge of MS-Office Tools Word, Excel, Power Point, Visio.
- Awareness of ITIL processes.
- Conceptually sound and with good analytical skills
- Good Oral and Written Communication skills.
- Proven experience with production systems and dealing with production issues.
- Works effectively with persons in all levels of operation for Incident Management + Change Management (Planning & Execution) + Root cause analysis / Problem Management + Capacity / Architectural Management.
- Experience in working with SAN ,NAS, DAS, Symantec Netback up Backup Solution.
- Responsible for escalating Incidents and User Service Requests within their organization to drive resolution.
- Independently resolve tickets within SLA Adheres to standard operating procedures / work instructions.
- Knowledge of Backup RAID , Symantec backup execution , RAID , Symantec SSR.
- Protocols understanding SSL/TLS, DNS, DHCP, WINS, NTP, FTP, HTTP, CIFS, LDAP, POP,SNTP,IMAP.
- Update work logs, Alert Monitoring, Ticket Monitoring.
- Linux CLI Commands.
