Desired Candidate Profile Candidate must have good command over English language. Must be creative and fast learner. Must be able to write articles on varied topics. Candidates having prior experience in freelancing or regular web content writing will be preferred. Job Description Responsible for writing Web content; maintaining and updating Web pages/blogs; monitoring and responding to user-contributed website content; and participating in social media efforts for the company. Based on keywords research, the SEO copy writer will also edit and revise existing content on clients websites to make it search engine friendly. Successful candidate will be trained on our content optimisation techniques and will utilize his/her content writing abilities with our techniques for best search engine required content. Collaboration with project manager will be necessary. Candidate will also perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein. Job Responsibilities: Writes content online; maintains company Web pages and blog(s) Contributes to/updates the company s social sites like Facebook and Twitter Helps develop & document procedures to manage Web content Moderates content as it is contributed to the website by external sources Monitors social media outlets and responds on topics related to company/industry Keeps up-to-date with best practices in writing for the web, social media trends, web usability, web design, and business/industry trends Coordinate content creation & publishing of company newsletters (internal or external) Prepare internal and external communications including announcements, press releases, quarterly corporate reports, presentations, technical documentation, sales support, etc as needed.
