Job Summary Job Title: Big Data Developer Location: Pune Reports to (job): Tech Lead Purpose of Position Big Data Developer enables companies in developing high-quality IT Services and solutions and who possesses a deep knowledge of the big data platforms ecosystem and the tools that can transfer data to a big data platform or address stream processing A Big Data Developer closely functions with a big data systems engineer that knows Hadoop and other similar technologies, hardware requirements, and resource management Major Responsibilities A big data developer should knows the technologies such as Apache Spark or Hadoop and knows how to process parallel data From the perspective of programming, focus is on Scala, Python and Java. He should have better understanding of functional programming applications Possesses a deep knowledge of the big data platforms ecosystem and the tools that can transfer data to a big data platform or address stream processing A Big Data Developer closely functions with a big data systems engineer & admin that knows Hadoop and other similar technologies, hardware requirements, and resource management Able to Work on NoSQL database exceptionally and effectively possess insight on growing, debugging, optimizing and setting up the different Big Data technologies Competencies: General Skills: Team Player, Flexible Strong written communication skills Technical/Domain Skills : Good knowledge of Build Tools (Maven, Sbt). Knowledge of Version Control like Git, SVN, SVN etc (Git Preferred). Knowledge of Application Servers. Knowledge of Cloud Technologies like AWS. Knowledge of Micro-services. Knowledge of Cloud Technologies like AW
