The Lead Test Automation Engineer' duties include:
Understanding functional aspect of client applications, defining strategies and creating test scripts for testing
Converting scripts into Test Automation Suite using appropriate technology
Finding solutions for automation problems encountered during this process
Requires proficiency in one or more programming languages (like Python)
Exceptional accuracy and mathematical aptitude
Excellent time management skills
A commitment to skills development to continue providing up-to-date solutions
Perform quality work within deadlines with or without direct supervision
Interact professionally with other employees, customers, and providers
Work effectively as a team contributor on all assignments
Work independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with other employees, teams, and departments
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
Defining test strategies and test plans for various client applications
Designing and developing test automation scripts
Practice test automation standard and guidelines
Researching issues in software through testing
Collaborating with QA Analysts and Software Developers to develop testing solutions
Keeping updated with the latest industry developments
Document all test results and incidents by tracking a bug till closure
Communicating with respective stakeholders throughout the test life cycle with proper status reports, documents etc
Configure necessary hardware and environment for deployment scenario testing
Very good analytical skills for interpreting test results
Must have:
Automation Testing on Mainframe setup and Web applications across different platforms
Programming languages such as Java, C# and Python or similar
Automation Tools Selenium, UFT, RFT or similar
Web Service Testing using any tool like SOAPUI, Postman, Rapise, JMeter or similar
ALM, Defect Tracking, Test Management Tools any popular
Automation Framework knowledge
Excellent mathematical and problem-solving skills
Highly accurate and detail-oriented

ETL Testing using any popular tool
Knowledge of COBOL
Agile Testing and DevOps
Qualification : A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Development, or a related field
