Job Description

• Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform

• Work with UI designers, business users and other team members to develop mobile applications

• Work with outside data sources and APIs

• Maintain quality and ensure responsiveness of applications

• Collaborate with the engineering team to design and launch new features.

• Integrate with POS SDKs and switch middleware to process card transactions for the different payment schemes as per the industry standards

• Implement Android NFC for reading card data and process card transactions for the different payments schemes

• Maintain code integrity and organization

• Work on bug fixing and improving application performance

• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency

• Work closely with graphic designers.

• Understand and implement security and data protection

Qualifications

• BSc degree/ Diploma in Computer Science or relevant field

Technical Skills and Experience

• Minimum 4 years proven working experience in Android app development and must have published multiple apps on Android app

• Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen size

• Strong knowledge of Java, Android UI design principles, design patterns and best practices

• Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform

• Knowledge of GlobalPlatform Card Specification

• Understanding of EMV Integrated Circuit Card Specifications for Payment Systems

• Knowledge of EMV CPV tools (Barnes,Collis)

• Understanding of Authentication and Cryptographic and Hashing technologies (RSA/PKI/CRT,3DES/AES,etc.);

• Proven software development experience and Android skills development with terminal integration

• Proven working experience in Android app development and Experience with various terminal SDKs

• Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON

• Experience with third-party libraries and APIs

• Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends,Terminal,EMV,payments and emerging technologies

• Experience working with Android NFC is an added advantage

• Practical knowledge about Encryption, Security Enhancement and its methodologies.

• Good verbal and written communication skills

• Good problem-solving skills
