Job Summary
  • 5+ Years of experience in Talend enterprise and/or Big Data Hadoop Technology
  • Develop batch data integration jobs in the Talend enterprise version
  • Expert in Talend enterprise version jobs processing complex XML
  • Process, clean, archive and monitor all data movement
  • Optimize ETL Jobs
  • Move code from development to QA and production
  • Write unit test cases
  • Conduct unit testing and end-to-end system testing
  • Excellent knowledge of data warehouse concepts
  • Experience with data modeling, data access, and data storage techniques
  • Excellent SQL knowledge
  • Good to have ELT development in the Hadoop platform
  • Experience with Unix platform and SQL programming (DataStage running on Unix platform)
  • Experience with Unix Scripting preferred (Korn shell, chron tab scheduler)
  • The strong skill required in data warehouse concepts, ETL tools, and data modeling areas
  • Experience with WebSphere Message Broker (WMB), IBM Integration Bus including hands-on experience developing message flows to interface with services producers and consumers
  • Four or more years' experience setting vision and directing a team for Integration development
  • Demonstrated experience in design, development, and deployment on IBM Integration Bus, MQ, Datapower and other middleware platforms
  • Demonstrated ability to understand, explain, mentor and deliver to customer governance, security, scalability, and agility needs using SOA integrations
  • Exposure to API Management Java Web Programming background including Spring and Hibernate (or similar)
  • Develop the logical and physical ETL design documents from the source to target mapping document
  • Tune the performance of the parallel jobs working closely with DBA and Data Modeler
  • Develop Talend and DataStage for ETL jobs test and deploy the jobs in the system integration testing and production environment
  • Provide post-deployment support for the jobs
  • Participates in requirements gathering and design sessions and helps create robust application designs
  • Participate in timely root cause analysis
  • Able to configure DataStage software on the server, write shell scripts and modify as necessary
  • Understand Data Warehouse architectural frameworks and methodologies
