iOS Developer

Location: IT Park, Chandigarh | Salary: Increment on last drawn

Experience Level: 1 - 5 years

Working Days and timings: Mon to Fri (5 days) and 9-10 AM to 6-7 PM (Flexi Work Timings)

We have a great engineering department with a small mobile team, so you will have lots of say in our mobile architecture, code standards, and processes. You will be joining an accomplished team that believes strongly in good architecture, design patterns, and automated testing. You'll be able to apply your experience to an app that faces unique challenges, but also have the flexibility to prototype and come up with the ideas of your own. Responsibilities:

• Design and implement complex mobile business applications in a team environment
• Participate in all aspects of an agile software development process, including: scoping, detailed design, effort estimation, coding, testing, debugging, maintenance and support
• Work closely with clients and UI/UX designers to drive app design and function
• Work in a rapid and agile development environment with frequent deliverables
• Learn frameworks and apply them quickly and successfully to production quality apps
• Conduct software code reviews to ensure the creation of high-quality, robust code
• Work with passionate, like-minded colleagues to build the best product possible

Technical Skills:

• Fluency over native iOS software development frameworks with demonstrable competency in Objective-C and SWIFT language
• Knowledge of iOS Architecture (Cocoa Touch, Media Services, Core Services, Core Data, Storyboard, and Core OS)
• Articulate knowledge of iOS Developer Tools (Xcode, Instruments, Developer Libraries, Third Party Libraries)
• Familiarity with UI best practices and guidelines
• Experience in using Core Data, Collection Views, Push Notifications (NS Notification), Asynchronous HTTP processing
• iOS App Programming (Core App Objects, Multitasking, States, App resources, Performance tuning)
• iPad/iPhone form factor characteristics and ability to implement auto layout feature
• Desire to write meaningful code, and develop products that can create lasting impact to the business and the world
• Strong iOS native coding experience in addition to proficiencies in MVC framework, 3rd party libraries, animation effects, storyboarding
• Extensive knowledge of SOAP and/or REST development
• Agile/iterative development methodology and ability to acclimate to quickly changing project requirements
