Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Android Developer to design, develop, and maintain applications for the Android platform. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of mobile app development, knowledge of Android architecture components, and the ability to perform unit and UI testing to ensure the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop Android applications that are high-performing and user-friendly.
• Write clean, efficient code while implementing Unit testing and UI testing using tools like JUnit, Mockito, and Espresso.
• Fix bugs and enhance the performance of existing Android applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver new features and improve existing functionalities.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging mobile technologies, trends, and the evolving Android ecosystem.
• Ensure the robustness and reliability of applications through continuous testing and debugging.
• Work within the Android development lifecycle to create scalable, maintainable, and modular applications.
• Integrate third-party services and APIs as required for app functionality.

Required Skills

• Proven experience in Android development with a strong understanding of the Android ecosystem.
• Proficient in Kotlin, and experience with MVVM & MVP architectures.
• Knowledge of Android architecture components, Dagger, and ReactiveX.
• Familiarity with Unit testing and UI testing tools like JUnit, Mockito, and Espresso.
• Strong understanding of the full mobile application development lifecycle.
• Good understanding of Android Studio and development tools.
• Experience in bug fixing, optimizing performance, and enhancing user experience.
• Ability to work collaboratively within an agile team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Familiarity with Android SDK and related tools.
• Experience in integrating third-party APIs into Android applications.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
