What You Will Do Defining the reliability requirements of the different stakeholders and implementing these requirements during the product design phase. Hosts regular cross functional team meetings with Design engineers, Test engineers, Simulation engineers to ensure alignment on executions to identify, troubleshoot and resolve reliability issues throughout the product lifecycle. Work closely with simulation engineers to improve predictive models and reduce physical test churn. Development of reliability test plans based on product design validation requirements by leveraging methods such as binomial distribution to estimate sample size and stress life curves to correlate to field life. Implementing reliability methods (such as accelerated life, degradation and run-to-failure testing) into test plans to ensure products meet or exceed customer requirements for reliability and durability. Perform reliability analysis and risk assessments to identify potential failure modes and recommend remedial strategies. Development, maintenance, and improvement of reliability models, including Weibull and exponential distribution, to predict product reliability and estimate product lifetime across platforms or technologies. Analysis of test results identification of trends and patterns, and reporting of results to all relevant stakeholders, and production of reliability reports and documentation, including failure analysis reports, reliability predictions, and test results. Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) Min. bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, systems engineering, physics, materials science or comparable. Min. 3 years relevant experience in reliability analysis, reliability prediction methods and accelerated life testing. Knowledge of test and reliability Specifications & Standards like ISO, IEC, JIS, MIL. Extensive knowledge of reliability engineering principles, tools and techniques, including FMEA, FTA, HALT and reliability modelling. Expert knowledge of reliability and data analysis tools such as Weibull++, Reliasoft & nCode, JMP or equivalent. A high degree of self-motivation, team player and strong problem-solving skills. Convincing communication skills/style towards customers and suppliers in English.
