Scrum Master Job in Motivity Labs

Principle purpose of job: The purpose of this position is nurture self-organizing, high performing teams through servant leadership and mentoring. Facilitates Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-Ups, Stakeholder Demos and Sprint Retrospectives. Participates in Clients product roadmap and release planning. Overall 3+ years of IT experience, where last 2 years working as Agile Master/ Scrum Master.

Job Responsibilities:

• Build and manage two Scrum/ Kanban teams.
• Doing everything possible ensure delighting customers.
• Guiding the team and client on how use Agile/Scrum.
• Guiding the team on self-organizing fill in the intentional gaps left in the Agile/Scrum frameworks
• Assessing the agile maturity of the team and client and coaching the team higher levels of maturity, at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable for the team and organization.
• Removing impediments or guiding the team remove impediments by finding the right personnel remove the impediment.
• Building a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame, retribution, or being judged, with an emphasis of healing and problem solving.
• Facilitating discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution.
• Assisting with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and radiating information
• Supporting and educating the Product Owner, especially with respect grooming and maintaining the product backlog.
• Providing all support, the team using a servant leadership style whenever possible and leading by example.
• Expertise knowledge & experience on Jira.
• Understand backlog tracking, burndown metrics, velocity, and task definition.
• Good to have working knowledge agile engineering practices BDD, TDD, ATDD, Continuous integration.

Relevant Experience & Qualifications:

• Masters or bachelors in engineering in IT/ Electronics / Communication / Computer Science /Information Systems.
• 3+ years in IT development with 2 years in Agile Scrum & Kanban experience as Scrum Master.
• Exposure in Agile / TDD / BDD based development.
• Exposure Continues Integration, Code practices deployment & Release management.
• Organizational skills with ability be flexible and work with minimal direction.
• Ability work well independently and in a team environment.
• Troubleshoot bottlenecks and propose changes fix them.
• Certified CSM or PSM.
• Functional knowledge in domains like Auto Lending, Banking, Customer support and Telephony would be an advantage.
• Understand concepts of MS .Net, WPF, SQL Server and ETL tools.
