Job Description Seeking smart, self-motivated, well-rounded QA Automation Engineer with 3+ years of experience who excels at identifying defects, solving problems, and has a quality-first mindset. Must value teamwork and communication. Will work closely with other Quality Assurance Analysts assigned to other teams to ensure consistency and reliability in creating automated test efforts. Will work closely with QA Automation Engineers to identify candidates for automation and ensure automation adequately covers software features. Must be adept at learning new technologies quickly. Basic Requirements Duties and Responsibilities: Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases. Develop and maintain automated test scripts to reduce repetitive manual testing. Design and develop QA automation frameworks. Work closely with Automation Engineers to assess test coverage and triage test failures. Plan and estimate effort required to incrementally deliver targeted and streamlined automation initiatives, develop, maintain, and execute automated test cases. Work closely with software developers, Product Owners and Business Analysts to resolve issues. Clearly communicate any obstacles to raise awareness and avoid project impediments and overall project timeline disruption. Collaborate with Product Owner, Business Analysts, and Developers on tasks related to the planning, testing, and coordination of release activities. Participate in story grooming process through dissection of high-level requirements during team review sessions. Experience with standard QA process and practices such as Functional, API testing, and integration testing with a passion for automation Desired Experience: Proficiency in at least one Programming Language 3+ years of experience in designing the automation testing framework and developing testing scripts Be able to define the test automation approach Sufficient Knowledge of Automation Tools Experience working with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and Bitbucket Well Versed with Test Management Tools such as TestRail Expertise with Agile, DevOps Methodologies & Continuous Delivery 3+ years of testing experience in Salesforce clouds like - Sales, Experience and CPQ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Knowledge and proven expertise in project management tools such as Jira Nice to have Experience creating automated test scripts with Provar automation tool. Experience in API automation Experience working with TestRail is a plus
