Job DescriptionRole: Technical Project ManagerLocation: BangaloreWho are we looking for?We are looking for a Technical Manager with overall experience of 12+ years, having good development experience on embedded control applications and project manager experience Technical Skills: Overall 12 years or more experience on software development and project managementMust have experience in all areas of software project managementExperience in embedded firmware development is requiredMust have development Experience in one or more areas listed below8-bit, 16-bit, and 32-bit microcontrollers, 32-bit microprocessorsAny RTOS, with C and C++ is mustExpert in Linux UBOOT, Kernel and device driversKnowledge of Python Board bring up experience Good debugging skills using emulators and probesBasic Digital and analog design knowledge Protocols like USB, BT, WIFI, i2c, Serial protocols is mustAdvanced subject matter knowledge to solve complex business issues and is regarded as a subject matter expert.Must contribute to the development of new ideas and methods. Works on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of multiple factors. Leads and/or provides expertise to functional project teams and may participate in cross-functional initiatives. Acts as an expert providing direction and guidance to process improvements and establishing policies. Frequently represents the organization to external customers/clients. Exercises significant independent judgment within broadly defined policies and practices to determine best method for accomplishing work and achieving objectives. May provide mentoring and guidance to lower level employees.Works on complex projects where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of multiple factors.PMP certification preferredRoles and Responsibilities:Manages project delivery.Very large/ complex project managementManages project financials Provides reliable financial forecasts to management.Risk management, Acts as opportunity manager for high risk deals.Manages business development.Manages upper level client delivery relationships.Frequently represents the organization to external customers/clients.Manages project team.
