Visualization Analyst (tableau) - Data And Analytics Job in Mpower Financing

THE ROLE You ll be working with MPOWER s Analytics team as a Visualization Analyst. This position offers an opportunity to work directly with business teams to design strategic solutions that visualize complex data in a focused manner. You must have expertise in connecting data from multiple sources to create cohesive and meaningful reporting as well as a strong understanding of data visualization techniques and best practices to bring reporting to life. Familiarity with the Tableau architecture and best practices is a must. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Guiding cross-functional team members in collecting, aggregating, interpreting, and visualizing data to provide insights Leading development of automated reporting solutions in Tableau and mentoring data analysts to increase skill sets across teams Owning all data used in reporting, clearly explaining definitions and nuances in data to internal teams and partners Acting as technical lead for developers guiding them with complex set analysis expressions and Dashboard development Sharing knowledge of best practices in data visualization to guide development of compelling partner-facing dashboards and facilitating continued assessment and improvement of processes, tools, and data sources THE QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor s degree is a must 3+ years of experience in Tableau Desktop, Tableau Prep Builder, as well as publishing and maintaining workbooks on Tableau Server/Online Expertise data visualization design Proficiency with LOD, Calculated Fields, Table Calculations, good to have Salesforce knowledge Strong understanding of and ability to apply best practices in data visualization Advanced skills in data analysis and data discovery Strong communication skills with ability to lead IT architecture design sessions and/or business dashboard working sessions Strong SQL, relational database, & data warehousing skills Tableau certifications and fintech or EdTech industries experience is a plus
