Your Team responsibilities

Our team is developing backend and frontend systems that allow the application of Data Science and Machine Learning algorithms for various teams within the company. We are looking to extend our cloud presence and support other teams to utilize cloud native solutions for their data access.

Your key responsibilities

If selected, you will work as part of a delivery focused and talented software development team responsible for designing, developing and supporting solutions for various business initiatives.

You will use cutting edge software development techniques and methodologies, following the best practices of the industry.

Responsibilities:

• Implement scalable, distributed, fault tolerant solutions that achieve specific business goals.
• Apply complex software design patterns using the latest technologies in Azure using Python, Docker and Kubernetes.
• Implement software testing frameworks. (unit/non-regression/user acceptance)
• Understand complex business requirements
• Work on Cloud Native solutions in Azure
• Deploy solutions focused on solving business problems using cloud native and other AI/ML/NLP technologies

Your skills and experience that will help you excel

Desired experience and qualifications:

• A University Undergraduate or master s degree in Computer Science or related field
• 6+ years of industry experience
• Hands on development experience with Python
• Experience developing & deploying solutions using object-oriented programming
• Good understanding of a version control system (preferably Git) and DevOps
• Basic level of cloud experience (Azure, AWS or GCP)
• Machine Learning, NLP or Microsoft Power Apps experience is a plus
• Fluent English and strong communication skills
• Open-minded attitude, flexibility for learning and using new methods/technologies
• Ability to share ideas and provide new solutions
• Quality oriented development approach
