Job Summary

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Interact with testers and stakeholder teams to develop a strong understanding of the business processes
  • Test Driven Development and passionate about or experience of Agile methodologies such as Extreme Programming (XP) and Scrum
  • Keeping up to date with the latest technology trends
  • Designing and implementing new features and functionality
  • Helping formulate an effective, responsive design and turning it into a working theme and plugin
  • Support production deployment of applications and perform validation testing during the off-hour s maintenance windows
  • Technical support and application maintenance

Skills & Competencies:

  • Good understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript
  • Strong understanding of PHP back-end development
  • Experience building user interfaces for websites and/or web applications
  • Experience designing and developing responsive design websites
  • Experience in building/maintaining Learning management systems / External & Internal Company Portals
  • Commercial delivery experience within complex, enterprise environments
  • Comfortable working with debugging tools like Firebug, Chrome inspector, etc.
  • Ability to understand CSS changes and their ramifications to ensure consistent style across platforms and browsers
  • Ability to convert comprehensive layout and wireframes into working HTML pages
  • Knowledge of how to interact with RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML)
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools (preferably Git)
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Database skills, mainly in MySQL (knowledge in PostgreSQL and SQL Server would be a plus)
  • Good experience with different Operating Systems (Preferably Linux distros)
  • Demonstrate an understanding of IP networking, protocols such as HTTP and HTTPS, firewalls (good to have)
  • Must be flexible, independent and self-motivated
  • Punctual, Regular and consistent attendance

Qualification :

B.E/B.Tech (Preferably in Computer Science or IT)
