Job Summary

Tactical Responsibilities: Conduct product discovery/grooming sessions to build a product backlog in collaboration with the Client's product manager. Envision incremental releases of the product and plan(effort, scope, budget, timeline). Drive client interactions and guide the Client to define, track, and deliver the product roadmap /product lifecycle. Be involved in all stages of product development from exploration to delivery while collaborating with a highly skilled development team (Engineering, QA, and Design) and other key stakeholders along the way. Lead the team to build the product per the scope, budget, and timeline agreed with the Client. Follow Agile ceremonies (Release Planning, Sprint planning/Retro / Review, etc.) and principles throughout the product development phases. Lead 1-2 development pods (teams) executing in an Agile Scrum environment, defining and documenting all User Stories, running refinement sessions, and supporting planning to enable execution against a defined product strategy. Ensure that the Product roadmap is visible, transparent, evident to all, and shows what the pod will work on for upcoming sprints. Build consensus with all the stakeholders and the teams where multiple parties are involved. Identify project/product stakeholders early and work with them to ensure their expectations are managed effectively in sync with the benefits defined in the business case. Ability to push back on unrealistic expectations and build consensus between all the stakeholders, backed with previous experience/case studies/data. Maintain a keen focus on maximizing business value and minimizing time to market. Requirements Required Skills: 5+ years of overall technology + managerial experience 3+ Years of strong product owner experience in: Defining and delivering software products/solutions. Managing US / UK-based clients with direct interaction. International travel experience for project engagements. Working with remote distributed cross-functional teams. Leading cross-functional software development teams. Project delivery experience (SCRUM Master/ Project Manager) Technical background/experience is preferred A vibrant personality who exudes Positive Energy & brings a Can-Do attitude . Outstanding verbal and written communication skills. Excellent planning and organizational skills and have the ability to work independently with little oversight/direction. Strong interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, facilitation, prioritization, and decision-making skills. Not required, but awesome: BE / BTech or equivalent required; ME / MTech or equivalent and/or MBA is a plus Certified Scrum Master, Certified Scrum Product Owner, Certified Scrum Professional, Certified Scrum Trainer, PMI Agile Certified Practitioner, PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) Experience with pursuits and pre-sales activities is preferred Subject matter expertise in mobile technologies and software project methodologies Hands-on experience with JIRA or Confluence
