Job Summary

Produce quality, relevant documentation, including conceptual overviews, use cases, objective-based tasks, best practices, APIs, reference material, and release notes.
Create content for developers, administrators, business users, casual users, and for internal Apttus audiences.
Collaborate effectively with teams across the company, such as Product Management, Release Management, Developers, QA, Professional Services, Sales Engineering, and Tech Support. Translate verbal and written technical requirements from these stakeholders into documentation.
Assist engineers, UX designers, and others in drafting user-facing content, such as UI text and error messages.
Work effectively with colleagues around the globe.
Produce output in multiple formats, including PDF, Word, and HTML.
Independently and efficiently acquire deep, comprehensive expertise in specified areas of the product and an excellent working knowledge of the entire product line. Serve as an SME for colleagues across the company and its ecosystem.
Assist team colleagues with peer reviews and subject matter expertise.
Test the procedures that are being documented. Learn and follow department procedures for writing, editing, and publishing documentation.
Serve as project lead (lead writer), coordinating the efforts of one or more writers on a specific documentation project or product area.
