Senior Test Engineer Specialist - Automation Qa Job in Nasdaq

Your role and responsibilities:

As an Senior Test Engineer Specialist , you will be responsible for testing and delivering requirements with a well-defined Agile process and methodology. Besides manual and automation testing.

• Develop and execute test plans and test cases with a strong emphasis on using code to solve technical challenges and shorten the test cycle through automation.
• Estimate test efforts, analyze and communicate test results and participate in day-to-day QA Activities.
• Add to our company s performance and scalability testing efforts and build the test frameworks, tools and technologies used by the organization to maintain a highquality bar. This can also include writing specialized testing tools for our software platform.
• Work with Development, Test and Product Management to design and implement test and validation strategies.
• Execute and manage test cases and results; report on test and defect metrics.
• Create, execute and troubleshoot automated test scenarios across our systems.
• Contribute to robust, scalable, and high quality test automation solutions for functional, regression and performance testing
• Contribute to the building of a continuous Integration (CI) environment and ongoing process improvement activities.
• Identify required improvements in the test and development processes; contribute to our automation tools that address specific needs.
• Maintain a high quality bar in a complex and constantly evolving workspace.

We expect you to have:

• 8-10 years experience in Automation testing.
• Expertise in Architecting Test Automation framework for web, API and mobile testing
• Expertise using JAVA/Selenium/Python/Appium/Xcode or equivalent opensource
• Expertise developing and maintaining REST/JSON API automation framework.
• Good Knowledge of web markup, including HTML5 and CSS3
• Experience working on cloud platforms like saucelabs/browser stack
• Is required to test either front end or back end software components (or both) and apply industry best practice.
• Expertise implementing parallel execution framework.
• Expertise in developing Cross browser framework implementations for windows and MAC OS
• Excellent Experience in debugging issues with minimum turn around time
• Reviews system requirements and business processes; codes, tests, and debugs software solutions.
• Reports issues found back to development and/or project management teams and/or implementation teams.
• Required to develop and maintain testing tools to be used by the broader team.

It would be great if you:

• Familiarity with the Agile Methodology
• Experience in CMS applications
