Systems Operations Specialist - Devops Job in Nasdaq

Your Role and Responsibilities:

• To Independently perform real-time monitoring of systems for software/hardware errors, failures and capacity issues; troubleshoot, diagnose and collaborate with other analysts and development team, using deep expertise and knowledge of industry trends.
• To Promote automation of installation and monitoring of servers and applications.
• To Work with development teams to ensure delivery of operationalized applications.
• To Devise automation and scripts to prevent recurrence of production outages.
• To Independently perform startup and shutdown of core systems, leads recovery procedures, and monitors batch processes.
• To use deep expertise and knowledge of industry trends, independently troubleshoots complex issues with clients, exchanges, market centers, and network providers.
• To review system capabilities, department workflow, and scheduling requirements and evaluate for efficiencies and improvements.

We expect you to have:

• Strong hands on experience in Linux Application support , Kubernetes , Devops Deployment architecture.
• Good experience in tools like GIT, Ansible & Puppet & Cloud Technologies (preferably AWS and Azure)
• Hands on experience in Terraform & scripting languages Python.
• Good to have knowledge on ITIL
• Willingness to work in rotational shifts
• Minimum 6+ years of experience.
