Infor S3 Consultant/senior Job in Navisite India Pvt. Ltd

Responsibilities:

• Handle incoming telephone calls and electronically reported issues from customers
• Accurately describe and maintain status of each issue using ITIL standards
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity problems, including user access and component configuration, maintenance of security and general support of complex systems
• Select among authorized procedures and seek assistance when guidelines are inadequate, significant deviations are proposed, or when unanticipated problems arise
• Install, configure, and upgrade printers
• Performs Install, Upgrade, Patch and Maintain Infor Products and Applications
• Actively work with other technical staff, such as networking to ensure connectivity and compatibility between systems
• Write and maintain system documentation
• Ability to work regularly scheduled shifts
• After hours coverage for critical issues as needed

Requirements:

• 3+ years experience and training in Lawson software business applications
• College degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• Previous customer support experience, preferably in the Lawson Software arena
• Knowledge of UNIX and NT operating systems
• Excellent organization/time management skills
• Ability to support/work in a multi-user/multi-client environment on different platforms
• Knowledge of tools, techniques and good practices for protecting the integrity of corporate data and processing
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment with multiple deadlines in non-standard hours, weekends/holidays
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize support/maintenance for multiple customers on different environments
• Ability to work cohesively in a team environment and act as a knowledge expert
• Candidate must ensure that compliance with data protection legislation under the DPA, EU GDPR, any other applicable data protection legislation
