Senior Php Developer Job in Navtech

Navtech is looking for a Senior PHP Developer responsible for managing back-end services and the interchange of data between the server and the users.

Working as Senior PHP Developer at Navtech, you will:

• Develop and integrate user-facing elements.
• Troubleshoot, test and maintain the core product software and databases.
• Integrate data storage solutions.
• Work on the Laravel framework.
• Build efficient, testable, and reusable PHP modules.
• Have a passion for best design and coding practices and a desire to develop new bold ideas.
• Solve complex performance problems and architectural challenges.

Who Are We Looking For Exactly?

• 4+ years of work experience in PHP (PHP 5.6 PHP 7.0+ ) on Laravel framework.
• Solid knowledge on PHP (version 5.0 to 7), OOPS concepts in PHP, MySQL (advance,5.0+),
• PHP-FPM, Nginx etc.
• Solid knowledge of MySQL and query optimizations for improved performance. Knowledge of indexes and normalization is key.
• Understanding of open source projects like Joomla, Drupal etc.
• Demonstrable knowledge of web technologies including HTML, CSS, Javascript, AJAX etc.
• Good knowledge of relational databases, version control tools and developing web services.
• Experience in common third-party APIs (Google, Facebook, eBay etc).
• Experience developing location-aware mobile applications.
• Experience building RESTful and mobile-friendly APIs for use in high scale mobile applications.
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
• Experience on AWS would be an added advantage.
• Strong sense of ownership, urgency, and drive.
• Should have a Master s Degree /Bachelors (BS) in computer science, Software Engineering, IT, Technology Management or related degrees and throughout education in English medium.
• Should have excellent logical, analytical and communication skills.
